Presenting Intel's new development platform, the Edison! The Intel Edison development platform packs a robust set of features into its small size, delivering great performance, durability, connectivity, I/O, and software support.

Plus it's Arduino-compatible! Each module is programmed using the already-familiar Arduino IDE. For additional compatibility and easy prototyping with existing Arduino shields, the Edison is available with an Arduino-style breakout board.

Ever hear the phrase "big things come in small packages?" The Edison takes it and runs with it. This miniature module packs in a dual core Atom processor running Yocto-based Linux at 500MHz, 1GB of DDR3 RAM, 4GB of onboard EMMC memory, and a 32-bit Intel Quark microcontroller running at 100MHz.
